“I started working with Khadi paper after I bought some by mistake. All my usual ways of painting didn’t work on the handmade paper, so I had to reinvent my technique. This was terrific and really pushed me in new directions and I made a whole series on this paper. It is a very ‘one-shot’ process as the paint stains the paper so there is no going back.”
