Gilded Conker & Snail

"This year I collected conkers with my sister. When I returned to the studio with my haul, a tiny snail was resting on one of them. I have a library of rubber moulds of different sizes of snail shells from my residency up in Caithness (taken from empty snail shells). So this will be part of an new ongoing series."

Gilded in 23.5 carat gold.
